Will a full size mattress fit in a truck bed?
My boyfriend and I want to get a new mattress. He thinks we need to have it delivered to our apartment, but I think it will fit in the back of his truck. Can you fit a full-sized mattress in a truck bed?

Getting a large item of furniture home can be a costly headache, but having a pickup truck makes things much easier. Most truck beds can comfortably fit a full-size mattress, but you can still safely move a mattress with a smaller bed.
All you need to do is:
- Wrap your mattress with a tarp or sheet to protect it
- Lay the mattress in the bed of the truck or at an angle with the overhang on the side of the truck
- Use ratchet straps to secure the mattress to anchor points in the truck bed
- Recheck the straps before setting out
