Why won’t my 2013 Ford F-150 start if it’s not making a clicking noise?

My 2013 F-150 wouldn’t start up today no matter what I did. I tried it in park, I tried shifting to neutral, I checked the battery, but it just won’t start. It’s not even making a clicking noise! Why wouldn’t my truck be starting up?

If your 2013 Ford F-150 won’t start and there’s no clicking noise, try replacing the battery in your key fob. There has been a significant number of F-150 owners that have experienced their trucks not starting due to a dead key fob, so start there.
If you’re still getting nothing but dead air when trying to start up your F-150, take your key out of the ignition to make sure there is no power running to your truck, then head to the engine bay fuse box. Check for any signs of a blown fuse and replace any damaged ones you find. You may need to schedule a servicing appointment at your Ford dealership or local mechanic if that doesn’t do the trick.
