The Volvo XC60 battery location is beneath the hood unless you’re looking for the start battery, which is located in the trunk.
You can find the XC60’s battery under the hood in the engine compartment. This is the battery that powers Volvo’s main electrical system.
If you need to access the start battery, you need to go to the left of the cargo department. This battery supports the Start/Stop during the starting sequence. Mild hybrid vehicles may have a 48 V battery here, which requires extreme caution when handling.
