Where is the Jeep Compass made?

I heard that Jeep has been moving a lot of its production out of the United States for quite some time now. I’m looking at the Compass, but I’m hoping it's one of the American-made Jeeps. Where are Jeep Compasses made?

The answer may disappoint you. The Jeep Compass is primarily made for the North American market in Toluca, Mexico. Other Jeep Compass production plants are located around the world in Italy, Brazil, China, and India.
While Jeep has been named the most patriotic vehicle for 20 years and counting, a lot of its production began moving out of the States once it was acquired by Stellantis. As such the
Jeep Cherokee
and
Jeep Grand Cherokee
are the only exclusively American-made Jeeps on the current American market.
