Where is the Honda Odyssey made?

Ever since I started a family—call me strange—I’ve been excited to get a minivan. However, my husband is in the union, and he’s expected to always buy American-made vehicles. Is the Honda Odyssey actually made in the U.S.?

Surprisingly, the Honda Odyssey is not made in Japan for American markets. It’s actually made at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama in Lincoln, Alabama. Plus, the 10-speed transmissions in every Honda Odyssey are manufactured at the **Georgia Transmission Plant in Tallapoosa, Georgia.
While it’s technically a Japanese vehicle, the Honda Odyssey has the second-most American construction and assembly of any car on the market, according to the American-Made Index. Only the Jeep Cherokee is more authentically American, although many Tesla vehicles fall closely behind.
