Where is the gas tank button on a 2018 Honda Accord?

I feel so embarrassed, but I just bought a used Honda Accord and I can’t find the gas tank release button to save my life. Where is the gas tank button on a 2018 Honda Accord?

Have no shame—the reason you can’t find the gas tank button in your 2018 Honda Accord is because it doesn’t have one. Instead, you just push directly on the right side of the fuel door to open it.
Since it’s your first time filling your Accord up, you should also know that there is no gas cap either! Just stick the gas pump nozzle through the metal flap right into the fuel filler neck and you’re good to go.
If you’re concerned that your Honda’s lack of release button will lead to a security issue: don’t be. The fuel filler door will NOT open (even when pushed) unless your Honda is turned off, parked, and your doors are unlocked.
With an EPA-estimated fuel efficiency of up to 47/47/47 MPG city/highway/combined in the hybrid configuration and 33/30/38 MPG in the base model, it’s no wonder you haven’t spent much time at the gas station in your 2018 Honda Accord. If you’d like to continue your savings with the lowest
