Where is the battery in a Dodge Charger?

I ordered a new battery for my Dodge Charger and planned to change it myself, but I’m not sure exactly where the old battery is. It looks like there’s a battery under the hood, but when I searched online, apparently there’s one in the trunk too. Where’s the battery located on a Dodge Charger?

Your Dodge Charger’s battery is located in the trunk. You’ll need to remove the carpet in the trunk, then you should find it to the right of your spare tire.
What you found under the hood is probably the power distribution block. While it’s not the battery itself, it has terminals for jumpstarting your vehicle, which can make it look like your car battery.
Changing your battery can save you time and money – just be sure to follow good safety guidelines when dealing with any electrical components.
