Where is the 2019 Hyundai Tucson’s OBD port location?

My 2019 Hyundai Tucson’s Check Engine light just came on. I have an OBD scan tool, so I’d like to try diagnosing the problem myself. Where is the OBD port?

We’re happy to help! The OBD port location in a 2019
Hyundai Tucson
is to the left of the steering wheel, under the dashboard.
The Onboard Diagnostics II (OBD-II) port will allow you to access your Hyundai Tucson’s internal computer for running tests and diagnostics.
An
OBD-II scan tool
is imperative to running a test—so you’re ahead of the game for having one handy! You’ll want to follow these three steps to run a diagnostic on your Tucson:
  • Plug the scan tool into your OBD port
  • Power on the scan tool and crank the ignition in your Tucson
  • Press “Scan” on the scan tool and follow the directions on its screen
That’s it! Within a few seconds, the scanner will provide you with a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) to help you figure out why your car’s Check Engine light came on. All scanners are a little different, so be sure to follow your scan tool’s specific instructions to read the code properly.
