Where is the 2016 Honda Accord OBD port location?
As I was driving to work this morning, my engine light warning came on but I’m not sure why. I have an OBD scanner and I’d like to get a better idea of what's wrong before I bring it to my local auto shop, but I can’t figure out where the OBD port is. Any idea where the 2016 OBD port location is?

We totally get it—OBD port locations aren’t obvious, as they’re often hidden on purpose, and the port’s location often changes depending on what year your model was manufactured. Regarding the 2016 Honda Accord, the OBD port is located underneath the dashboard to the left of the steering column.
You can find the OBD port underneath the dashboard close to the driver’s side door. Once you find a large rectangular port with smaller holes for the prongs of your scanner to fit, you’ll know you’ve found the correct port.
OBDs, or On-Board Diagnostics, can give you an idea about the status of your vehicle by connecting to its computer and communicating this information through a series of different codes.
OBDs can be separated into two broad categories: OBD1, OBDII, or OBD2. The 2016 Toyota Camry is only compatible with OBD2 scanners, so double check that you have an OBD2 before using your scanner on your Accord!
