We’re happy to help! The 2010 Dodge Charger’s battery is actually located in the trunk. This is more common in imported cars, but you’ll sometimes come across American cars with trunk-mounted batteries too.
Your Charger’s battery can be found underneath the floor panel in your trunk, alongside the spare tire. Remember to always remove the positive cable first, then the negative cable.
If your Charger ever needs a jump, or if you offer a jumpstart to someone else, you don’t need to worry about emptying your trunk. You’ll do this from under the hood. Look for the fuse box on the passenger side of the engine bay.
You’ll see the positive jump terminal marked with red, while the negative grounding terminal is just past the fuse box on the firewall side.
