The 2008 BMW 528i’s battery location is in the trunk, behind the passenger side taillight.
To access your battery, you will have to lift up the floor mat and hook it to the mouth of the trunk and remove the plastic fasteners that secure the trunk floor and wall panels. Once you remove the wall panel on the passenger side of the trunk, you’ll be able to see your battery.
