Where is the 2007 Honda Accord OBD port location?

I bought a 2007 Honda Accord for my son to drive to school, and I want to fix it up before he starts driving it. I want to scan it for error codes, but I can’t find the OBD port. Where is the OBD port in a 2007 Accord?

It sounds like your son’s new ride is in good hands with you! In a 2007
Honda Accord
, the OBD port is under the steering wheel in the fuse box.
Since you’re planning to decipher any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) that may pop up once you get to the OBD port, you’ll need to make sure you have an OBD-II scanner. Even though the Accord is an older model, it’s current enough that you won’t need an OBD-I device.
All you need to do is insert the scanner into the 16-pin connector and you’ll be able to diagnose your car problems with a little
understanding of car OBD codes
. It can be difficult to assess the codes without substantial experience, so there’s no shame in
taking your car to a mechanic
to diagnose your 2007 Honda Accord’s
car repair
needs if you’re having trouble.
