I just passed my test for a full driver’s license and I’m looking for my license number. Where can I find it?

Congratulations on passing your test—that’s a big accomplishment! On most state licenses, the driving license number is located above the date of issue/birth or the expiration date.
If you’ve lost your license and need to find your number, there are a couple of places you can look:
- On an expired copy of your driver’s license
