Where is my 2018 Ford Escape’s battery location?
The battery in my 2018 Ford Escape was dead this morning. I must’ve drained it somehow. My neighbor is home and will give me a jump, but I can’t find the actual battery. Where is my 2018 Ford Escape’s battery location exactly?

Ford hid your battery away underneath a plastic cover. You’ll find it up near the driver’s side windshield. There’s a small battery logo on the box, but it’s black and not easy to spot if you don’t know where to look for it.
The plastic cover is straightforward to remove. You’ll find the battery’s positive terminal on the battery itself, and the negative terminal is attached to the car frame to the right of the battery. If you need to remove the terminals, remember to always remove the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal, to avoid electric sparks and potential danger.
