What's up with the 2017 RAM 1500 ticking noise on startup?

I have a 2017 RAM 1500 that’s been a great truck. However, it’s been making a weird ticking noise on startup, and I can’t seem to diagnose the problem. What might be the issue?

In almost all cases, a 2017 RAM 1500 ticking noise on startup is the result of an exhaust manifold issue. Between the years of 2014 and 2019, the RAM 1500 has been known to have a faulty exhaust manifold that cracks or breaks. When exhaust passes through the manifold, a ticking noise is the result.
However, you may get lucky on this. If your RAM 1500 has a HEMI, RAM states that a slight ticking noise is normal over time. If this is the case, you may not have to do anything. If the problem persists or it’s driving you nuts, you can always take your car to a mechanic.
If you have to replace the exhaust manifold, a mechanic will typically charge you between $500 and $700. So if you need to save up some cash for the repair, you can always start by lowering your
