What’s the seating capacity of a 2020 Volkswagen Atlas?

My car was recently totaled, and my insurance company is going to pay for me to rent a car until I get a new one. The rental company has a 2020 Volkswagen Atlas, but I’m afraid it won’t have enough room for car seats and after-school sports equipment. What’s a 2020 Atlas’ seating capacity?

It can be really frustrating having to wait on vehicle repairs. But I do have some good news—the Volkswagen Atlas should have plenty of room for all your passengers and cargo.
The 2020 Atlas has three rows of seats and can fit seven people comfortably. That’s plenty of room for kids, dogs, carpooling, or whatever else you need.
Plus, the cargo space is really versatile. There’s nearly 21 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, but if you lay the third-row seat down you’re up to 55.5 cubic feet of cargo space.
In addition to having plenty of room, the following features make the Atlas a great family vehicle:
  • Driver assistance and safety features
  • Excellent child safety-seat system
  • State-of-the-art sound system with Bluetooth connectivity
Since your previous vehicle was totaled in an accident, you’ll want to make sure you shop around for new car insurance quotes—your rates are likely to increase due to the crash. The easiest way to know you’re getting the best deal on car insurance is to let
