What’s the seating capacity of a 2020 Volkswagen Atlas?
My car was recently totaled, and my insurance company is going to pay for me to rent a car until I get a new one. The rental company has a 2020 Volkswagen Atlas, but I’m afraid it won’t have enough room for car seats and after-school sports equipment. What’s a 2020 Atlas’ seating capacity?

It can be really frustrating having to wait on vehicle repairs. But I do have some good news—the Volkswagen Atlas should have plenty of room for all your passengers and cargo.
The 2020 Atlas has three rows of seats and can fit seven people comfortably. That’s plenty of room for kids, dogs, carpooling, or whatever else you need.
Plus, the cargo space is really versatile. There’s nearly 21 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, but if you lay the third-row seat down you’re up to 55.5 cubic feet of cargo space.
