oil type meets VW 502 00 standards and has a viscosity grade or thickness of SAE 5W-40.Audi says that if you can’t find 5W-40 oil, you can opt for 5W-30 or 0W-40—as long as the oil meets VW 502 00 quality standards. Synthetic oil that meets these requirements can be used as well.
