What’s the best route from Portland to Seattle?
I’m moving from Portland to Seattle this fall and I’ll need to make the drive, possibly more than once, to bring all of my stuff. What route should I take?

Driving back and forth more than once is very doable! The best route from
Portland
to Seattle is via I-5 N. By taking I-5, you’ll be able to travel between these two cities in about two hours and 45 minutes.If you want to avoid bad traffic, however, it’s best to avoid driving on weekends or during rush hour. I-5 can get pretty busy during these times since it’s an important highway for many commuters in this area of the U.S. Driving outside of these hours will allow you to make the trip more quickly and easily.
