What’s Kentucky’s highest speed limit?

Can you drive over the speed limit without getting a ticket in Kentucky? I know that some states have stricter traffic laws than others, so I’m curious.

Just like most states,
Kentucky
roads have a speed limit, and when you drive too fast, you can earn yourself a speeding ticket. The highest speed limit you’ll see in Kentucky is 70 MPH. While the speed limit on most Kentucky roads is 65 MPH, some segments of rural interstate roads will have a slightly higher speed limit to help improve the flow of traffic.
A speeding ticket in Kentucky can be anywhere from $20 to $100 or more, plus an additional $143 court fee, so it’s a good idea to avoid excessive speeding whenever possible. However, it’s also important to follow the flow of traffic, so don’t put yourself in danger by driving too slowly, either!
Did you know that speeding tickets and other traffic infractions can raise your

rates, too? Luckily, the
