With fuel prices on the rise, I’m dead-set on buying a hybrid car next month, but I’m still unsure about the model. Is the 2020 Ford Escape hybrid better than the 2020 Toyota RAV4 hybrid?

Both the 2020
Ford Escape Hybrid
and the 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid
are amazing, fuel-efficient, and eco-friendly SUV options, though they do have their differences. Starting at $29,000 the Ford Escape offers a 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson-cycle engine paired with an electric motor. The Escape’s hybrid powertrain offers drivers 44 mpg in city driving and 37 mpg on the highway.
The 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, on the other hand, boasts a similar 2.5-liter I-4 engine paired with dual electric motors that provide an EPA-rated fuel-economy rating of 41 mpg city and 38 mpg highway.
Considering only the price and fuel-efficiency of the two models, the 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid is cheaper and more fuel-efficient than the 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.
