Chevrolet Cruze Eco
was introduced in 2011.The Chevrolet Cruze was a sought-after, reliable sedan that lived from 2011 to 2019, and the Eco trim was available that first year. It shared many characteristics with the Cruze LS trim, but it sported a slightly different design to maximize eco-friendliness. The Cruze Eco’s original MSRP was $18,425, but you can find a used one today for around $12,000.
The first Cruze Eco to hit the U.S. market boasted 136 horsepower with nimble handling and a smooth, comfortable ride. You’ll find high-quality interiors as well as a twin-cockpit interior design, comfortable front seats, and an above-average trunk space for its class.
The Eco also came with OnStar telematics capability, air-conditioning, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, and a 60/40 split rear seat. It was also equipped with full power accessories.
To reduce its carbon footprint, the Chevrolet Cruze Eco featured:
- Lightweight alloy wheels
- A smaller fuel tank
- Low-rolling-resistance tires
- Lighter overall design
