What kind of oil does a 2013 Nissan Altima take?

I just inherited my parents’ old car, and I’m pretty sure it needs an oil change. Can you tell me what kind of oil a 2013 Nissan Altima takes? Thank you!

Not a problem at all. I can absolutely tell you what kind of oil a 2013
Nissan Altima
takes!
The 2013 Nissan Altima comes in two variations, both of which take a different type and volume of oil:
  • If your Altima has a six-cylinder VQ35DE engine, you will need to get 5.1 quarts of SAE 5W-30 oil
  • If your Altima has a four-cylinder QR25DE engine, you will need to get 4.8 quarts of SAE 0W-20 oil
While you take care of your car’s routine maintenance, why not take some time to update your insurance as well?
