What is the warranty on a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas?
I have a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas that I purchased from the dealership that year. Can you remind me what the warranty includes?

Great question! Remembering the exact details of your warranty can get confusing, especially a couple of years down the line. Every new 2018
Volkswagen Atlas
purchased from the dealership came with a comprehensive 6-year/72,000-mile warranty. Many of Volkswagen’s competitors—like Ford, Honda, Nissan, and Toyota—break their warranties up into “basic” (sometimes called “bumper-to-bumper”) and “powertrain” warranties. They offer a 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
This means that the warranty on a 2018 Atlas is quite impressive! Not only is it all-encompassing, but it lasts for considerably longer than average.
Since you purchased your vehicle in 2018, you should still be within the warranty period, and—as long as you don’t have too many miles and haven’t done anything to void the warranty—any covered defects should still be under warranty.
