What is the Toyota Corolla’s oil type?

My Toyota Corolla is due for an oil change soon. I want to save some money and do it myself, but I'm not sure what oil it takes. What oil type does the Toyota Corolla need?

Great job taking care of your Corolla! The
Toyota Corolla’s
oil type is 0W-20 synthetic oil. This type of oil only needs to be changed once a year, or every 10,000 miles.
Toyota recommends the following regular car maintenance, as well:
  • Every 5,000 miles, you should get a brake inspection and tire rotation
  • Every 15,000 miles, you should inspect the cooling system, fill the coolant, examine the steering components, and check the exhaust system
By taking care of your car, you’ll not only get the most out of it but you’ll also save money in the long run.
