The Highlander Hybrid towing capacity is 3,500 pounds, which is enough for small trailers and campers.With this vehicle, you can get an impressive 36 mpg on the highway and 35 mpg in the city, which is excellent for a three-row SUV. The key to the mix of power and efficiency lies in the vehicle’s 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that pairs with a nickel-metal-hydride battery. Not only is it fuel efficient, but the powertrain also produces 243 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque.
If the 3,500-pound towing capacity isn’t enough for your needs, the gas-powered Highlander offers 5,000 pounds of towing capacity.
