What is the difference between Honda EX and LX?
I was trying to look up the Kelley Blue Book value of my Honda Civic the other day, and my dad was telling me to make sure I put in that it’s an LX so that I get the correct value. I’ve only heard of the EX trim before—what’s the difference between that and LX?

Good question! EX and LX are different names for trim levels for Honda cars.
The difference between Honda EX and LX trims is that LX is a base-level trim while EX is a mid-level trim for Honda cars.
EX trims for Honda cars generally step up a car’s game in terms of convenience and aesthetic features. For instance, the 2020 Honda Accord LX has a four-speaker audio system with Bluetooth support, but the EX trim brings you an 8-speaker audio system and a larger touch screen display.
EX Honda trims generally cost more than LX trims because they have more enviable features, but you could land an EX trim for a good deal by shopping the used car market.
