Are wheel bearings covered under Kia’s warranty?

Yes! Kia’s extensive factory warranty covers wheel bearings as part of its powertrain warranty, which lasts for 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
In order to keep your Kia under warranty, you should follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule. If the damage to your wheel bearings can be proven to be the result of improper maintenance, your warranty will be void.
Kia has one of the best new car warranties offered by a car company. All new Kias come with
- Powertrain warranty: 10-year/100,000 miles
- Limited basic warranty: 5-year/60,000 miles
- Anti-perforation warranty: 10-year/100,000 miles
- Roadside assistance: 5-year/60,000 miles
Car warranties should not be confused with car insurance. Warranties only guarantee that factory-made components will continue to operate as intended under reasonable use. Warranties do not cover damage resulting from a crash, theft, vandalism, hail, or other natural disasters.
For example, if your paint starts to bubble for no apparent reason, it would probably be covered by Kia’s limited basic warranty. On the other hand, if your paint is scratched up from an accident, it will not be covered by Kia’s warranty—but it will probably be covered by your
