What is the cheapest way to insure a vehicle to be used with Turo?

I want to get a car to rent out through Turo, but I am crunching the numbers and the price of insurance will be too much for me to make any profit. I would be paying over $280 per month just for liability. Can I register the car using Turo insurance?

“Turo can be a great way to earn some extra cash, but getting insurance tends to be a little problematic. Turo is not covered by standard rideshare insurance, as many people assume.
As the coverage afforded by Turo to hosts would only be in effect while Turo books the vehicle, you still need to maintain your own insurance coverage on the vehicle for when it is not booked. Most car insurance companies would not insure this risk under a personal auto policy, so you will likely need a commercial policy.
Without having at least the state-minimum liability insurance coverage, you will not be able to register the vehicle.”
