What is the best route to Florida from CT?
I have some family in Florida and I want to visit them, but I live in CT and I don’t want to take a plane for such a short distance. What’s the best highway to take between these two states?

While it may seem like a short trip, even the shortest route to Florida from CT will take close to 19 hours of driving to complete. If you do want to drive, though, most people recommend taking I-95 South. You can take this interstate almost all the way to Florida from Connecticut, so this is a great option if you want a straight shot between the two states.
Another important tip is to try to avoid driving near Atlanta during peak commuter hours. Atlanta is notorious for bad traffic, and rush hour only makes the driving conditions worse. Try to time your trip so you pass by Atlanta either in the middle of the day or relatively late at night.
