The skiing and snowboarding in Banff are world-class! The best driving route from Vancouver to Banff is to take Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 E. The trip is almost 10 hours long.
Of course, you’ll want to make a couple of stops along the way. We recommend:
- Glacier National Park of Canada: Part of a system of 43 parks across Canada. Stop for a hike or admire the beautiful scenery.
- Emerald Lake: Located in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada. Stop to take some photos. The lake is literally emerald green.
