What is the Acura MDX’s oil type?

I have a used Acura MDX that’s been burning quite a bit of oil as of late. My mechanic told me that fixing the issue is probably worth more than the car is worth, so I’m just going to top off the oil regularly. What oil type do I need for an Acura MDX?

The
Acura MDX
has been a great SUV for over two decades, so if you want to treat it right, fill it with either 0W-20 or 5W-20 type motor oil. Acura suggests that models made after 2011 get 0W-20, while models before that should get 5W-20.
To do a proper oil change, you’re also going to need five quarts of motor oil. Full synthetic is preferred for peak performance, but blends and conventional types of oil are also acceptable. Just expect that you can get 7,500 miles between oil changes with a full synthetic motor oil compared to just 5,000 miles from a blend or conventional oil
If you want to save some cash to buy a new Acura MDX, start with your car insurance policy. Many people overpay simply because they don’t shop around. That’s when
