What is the 2011 Honda Pilot oil type?
I just bought a 2011 Honda Pilot, but I have no idea what kind of oil to buy! I thought all cars used the same until my girlfriend corrected me. What type do I need to get?

You’re right—oil type varies from car to car! The 2011
Honda Pilot
uses 5W-20 synthetic engine oil. Wondering where you can find this information yourself? Usually, manufacturers print the oil type on the oil cap in your engine—or, you can find it in your car owner’s manual. It’s also a good idea to keep some oil in your trunk to add to your oil tank in between changes if you’re running low. Running seriously low on oil can literally melt your engine and ruin your car!
