What is the 2001 Ford Explorer’s fuel pump relay location?
My parents have an old Explorer they’re letting me have if I can fix it up and get it running. I can’t get the engine to turn over and I’m not hearing the fuel pump at all. Can you tell me where the fuel pump is located on a 2001 Ford Explorer so I can see if that’s the culprit?

What you’re describing definitely sounds like a faulty fuel pump relay, but, luckily, this is a quick and easy fix! The 2001 Ford Explorer’s fuel pump relay is located on the fuse panel in the passenger compartment under the dash on the driver’s side. The panel cover has a diagram on it that will tell you which fuse to check, or you can consult the owner’s manual.
