What holds a tire on a car?

I’m trying to learn more about my vehicle. One thing I don’t know anything about is the tires. What holds a tire on a car?

The more you know about your car, the better you can take care of it. Tire beads hold a tire on a car.
More specifically, tire beads hold the tire to the rim, which is another name for the outer edge of the wheel. These tire beads are made of either copper, brass, or steel—they are wires wound into a rubber band, which prevents the tire from dislodging when the wheel rotates.
To break it down further, wheels are mounted on your car’s wheel hub. Your tires are mounted on your wheels.
