What happens if I forgot to pay my insurance when I have an SR-22?
What will happen since I forgot to pay? I don't have autopay on my car insurance and I forgot to make a payment. I currently have an SR-22 and I've heard a lot of bad things can happen if you let your insurance lapse.

have a short grace period until you’re technically late on your payment, regardless of whether or not you have an SR-22
.In the future, you might want to consider autopay so you aren’t playing with fire. If you forget to pay for a longer period of time, your policy may be canceled and you may be subject to fines or suspension of your license.”
