What are the best road trip destinations in Texas?
I realized how massive Texas is after driving through for work last year. However, I didn’t really get any time to explore, so I think I’m going to revisit the Lone State State in my convertible. What are some of the best road trip destinations in Texas?

- Austin: With a motto like “Keep Austin Weird”, you know this capital city has some great holes in the wall to explore. Go down to Sixth Street to hear live music any night of the week or take the Austin Bat Tour, which allows you to see over 1 million bats fly off into the sunset.
- Marfa: If you want to experience what Texas felt like 100 years ago, Marfa is the place to head. But it’s more than just an old Texas town: it also has numerous permanent art installations, including the famed Prada Marfa, which is a replica Prada store in the middle of nowhere.
- Big Bend National Park: Nestled along the shores of the Rio Grande, Big Bend National Park is home to 450 animal species, breathtaking scenery, and endless miles of hiking trails. For the avid outdoor enthusiast, a trip to Texas doesn’t get much better than this.
