Visit Lydgate Beach. Located on the east side of the island, Lydgate has two protected pools with lifeguards on duty. You’ll also find a picnic area, restrooms, and a playground—enough stuff to make a day of it.
Take a helicopter tour. The Jurassic Falls Helicopter Landing Adventure will give you a one-hour tour of the entire island. The helicopter takes you all around the gorgeous “Garden Island” and even makes a stop at the Manawaiopuna Falls, which was featured in the hit film Jurassic Park.
