On the Kia Seltos, how do I check the tire pressure monitoring system?

I have a Kia Seltos that’s been handling a bit rough in the recent past. I think that something’s wrong with the tire pressure, but I read that I can use the tire pressure monitoring system to check. How do I use it on the Kia Seltos?

The tire pressure monitoring system checks your tire pressure automatically. If your tires are low, your instrument cluster will say low tire pressure, and a dashboard light that looks like a tire with an exclamation point will come on.
When your tires are low, check the tire pressure manually and add air. Here’s how:
  1. If you own an air compressor, fire it up. If not, drive to a gas station that has an air pump.
  2. Hop out of your vehicle and go to one of your tires. Unscrew the cap from the valve stem.
  3. Press a tire gauge onto the valve stem. This will give you a PSI, or pounds per square inch, tire pressure rating.
  4. Fill the tires as necessary. The Kia Seltos requires a 32 PSI to run smoothly.
