Is the Honda CRV a compact SUV?
Ever since my car died, I’ve been thinking about getting a new one. I just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. My first choice is a compact SUV, and I love Honda, so that should narrow it down. But is the Honda CR-V a compact SUV or something else?

The Honda CR-V is not a compact SUV; it’s officially marketed by Honda as a midsize SUV. However, it’s certainly on the smaller end of the midsize spectrum and the smallest of Honda’s three midsize SUVs—the other two are the
Honda Pilot
and the Honda Passport
.Although the CR-V is a tad on the smaller side, it still offers plenty of space, including room for up to five passengers, 36.3 cubic feet of room behind the second row, and 76.5 cubic feet of room with all of the seats folded.
