Is the drivetrain covered under BMW's warranty?

I bought a new BMW 330i last year, and it’s suddenly having some axle issues. Is the drivetrain part of BMW’s warranty?

Good news—the drivetrain is covered under BMW’s Powertrain Warranty for up to four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. The Powertrain Warranty is included on all new BMW vehicles in addition to a few other warranties, which are laid out in the table below.
Warranty
What’s covered
Length of coverage
Basic New Vehicle Limited Warranty
Defects in material or workmanship
4 years/50,000 miles
Powertrain Warranty
Defects in the engine, transmission, or drivetrain
4 years/50,000 miles
Federal Emission Warranty
Emission components
2 years/24,000 miles
Rust Perforation Warranty
Rust damage related to body perforation or damaged materials
12 years/unlimited miles
