The Chevrolet Equinox is considered a mid-size compact crossover SUV. This means that it’s smaller than many of Chevy’s SUVs, but certainly not the smallest one they offer.

- Front/rear legroom: 40.9 inches/39.9 inches
- Front/rear shoulder room: 57.2 inches/55.5 inches
- Cargo volume: 29.9 cubic feet
The vehicle’s total length measures 183.1 inches, while its wheelbase measures 107.3 inches. This means that it’s significantly smaller than the Blazer, Traverse, Tahoe, and Suburban.
