Is the alternator covered under Toyota’s warranty?
I’ve been having some issues with the alternator in my Toyota Prius. Are repair costs for my alternator covered under my Toyota warranty?

We’re sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your Prius! You’ll be happy to hear, however, that your alternator is covered under Toyota’s 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty. All other Toyota-supplied materials are, too.
While the alternator won’t be covered for normal wear and tear or damage that you caused, if the part is deemed faulty, Toyota will take full responsibility and repair or replace it.
