Is parallel parking on the driving test in California?
I’m really scared of hitting the curb while I’m parallel parking. I’m taking my driving test soon and I’m worried that I might fail! Does California require you to parallel park on your driving test?

Typically, parallel parking is not required on the driving test in
California
—although you might have to do a backup maneuver of some sort.Even if you do have to parallel park, it’s very unlikely that you’ll fail for being overly cautious about the curb. Hitting the curb (or anything else) will cause you to lose points on your exam, so erring on the side of caution is a good idea.
