Is it illegal to wear sunglasses while you're driving?

Will I get into legal trouble for wearing sunglasses while I’m driving? My mom told me I couldn’t wear my sunglasses while I’m driving but I see people do it all the time. I also wear glasses anyway, so it’s not like they’re really very different.

It’s not illegal to wear sunglasses while you’re driving. However, if the glasses obstruct your view of the road (if you’re wearing them at night, for example), you could get into trouble for wearing them.
If you wear prescription glasses to see, however, you could get into trouble for taking your glasses off in order to wear your sunglasses. To make sure that this doesn’t happen, consider investing in prescription sunglasses or contacts so that you can see clearly without
