Is Ford SYNC covered under warranty?

I recently bought a Ford, and it’s been great so far. However, the Ford SYNC infotainment system touch screen has been acting a bit funky lately, and today, I couldn’t get it to work at all. Is SYNC covered under the Ford warranty?

The Ford SYNC infotainment system is covered under the 3-year, 36,000-mile new car basic warranty. This bumper-to-bumper warranty covers almost every aspect of your car and pays for repairs and replacement costs related to manufacturer defects. As long as you didn’t damage the unit yourself, this warranty should cover the Ford SYNC system.
To get the system repaired or replaced, simply schedule an appointment at your local Ford dealership.
If Ford denies your claim for any reason, you’re going to have to pay for a new infotainment system out of pocket. This can get rather expensive, and costs vary greatly depending on where you obtain the unit. So if you need some cash for the replacement,
