Is air conditioning covered under the Toyota warranty?

Toyota’s 3 year/36,000 mile warranty—available on new car purchases—only covers air conditioning recharges for one year. After that, you’re on your own! However, if the air conditioning is faulty due to failed performance from a component that isn’t affected by general wear and tear, that would be covered under your warranty. Either way, you’ll have to get to a mechanic to find out.
