Is a Honda Crosstour an SUV?

My neighbor is trying to sell his Honda Crosstour, and he has a great price on it. However, I’m not exactly sure what type of car it is—it almost looks like a Honda Accord with a big rear end. Anyways, I’d like to know what type of vehicle it is before I buy, just out of curiosity. Is the Crosstour an SUV?

Although the Honda Crosstour suffered from sluggish sales, it’s become somewhat of a popular used vehicle in recent years. But whether it’s an SUV depends on who you ask. The Honda Crosstour has been described as an SUV, hatchback, crossover, or station wagon while Honda simply called it the Crosstour—leaving the definition up to you.
Made from 2009 to 2015, the Crosstour had just a short run, but it’s now gathered a loyal following, offering seating for up to five and 51.3 cubic feet of cargo space and even a *278-hp, 3.5-liter V6**.
If you can get a great price on the Crosstour, pull the trigger! It’s a highly touted and collectible vehicle. Just make sure to keep your
