Is a Ford Fusion a good first car?

Would it be a good idea to give my teenager a Ford Fusion as their first car? I love how much a Fusion would save me on gas, but I’m not sure if it’s good for teens.

Yes, a Ford Fusion is a good choice for your teen’s first car!
The Ford Fusion is a reliable, high-quality vehicle that could last your child for 200,000 miles or more with proper maintenance and care. In fact, some model years can last even longer! Its excellent gas mileage also means that ownership costs will be low for you and your teen, which is great news.
However, it’s also important to note that you may need to pay more in order to insure your Fusion. Hybrid vehicles, in particular, often cost more to insure and, even with a standard engine, the Fusion is already an expensive vehicle to insure. When you combine that with the already high cost of insuring a first-time driver, you’ll be met with high insurance premiums.
