Is a cracked windshield covered under warranty by Chevy?

I went out to my garage this morning and found a huge crack across my windshield. I have no idea how it got there! Is a cracked windshield covered by Chevy’s warranty?

That is strange, but not to worry! The warranty on your Chevy will likely cover a cracked windshield within the first year of ownership if the damage is a result of material defects or poor workmanship—which sounds like it may apply in your case.
