If my garage burns down, will my car be covered by home insurance or auto insurance?

My neighbor had to deal with a garage fire recently. His truck was parked inside and suffered some damage. This got me thinking: Which form of insurance will cover my car if my garage burns down?

“If your garage burns down and your vehicle is inside of it, your car would be covered under your car insurance, not the homeowners insurance. Most homeowners policies exclude coverage for any type of vehicle with a motor in it, so it’s important that you keep active insurance on both your vehicle and your home. “
